David was also involved in the merger of the Diablo Valley Boys & Girls Clubs and the Boys & Girls Club of El Sobrante, resulting in the formation of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Contra Costa. In 2018, he joined the West Contra Costa Salesian Boys & Girls Club team as the interim Program Director, where he fell in love with his old Clubhouse, which still had his handprint on the wall from over 20 years prior. During his first two years, he played a key role in renovating multiple rooms into functional program spaces for members. In 2020, David was appointed as the Director of Operations, where he is responsible for overseeing club operations and programs, with a focus on program development and implementation. In addition to his operational responsibilities, he also actively participates in numerous board committees and events to support fundraising and marketing efforts that ensure the sustainability of the organization. David has a strong commitment to the Boys & Girls Clubs movement and aspires to continue his career within the organization. His ultimate goal is to impart his expertise and inspire future youth professionals who share his passion for creating a safe and positive environment for all youth.
